Kristie Edling-Day

Kristie Edling-Day is Chief Information Officer at SEI, where she leads the company’s technology and product organizations. Her responsibilities span enterprise technology and product strategy and operations, digital transformation, and platform modernization, supporting business growth, operational resilience, client experience, and regulatory obligations. 

Kristie partners with leaders across SEI to align technology and product investments with the company’s strategic priorities and advance its product capabilities, infrastructure, applications, cloud capabilities, data architecture, automation, and responsible adoption of AI. She also oversees technology risk governance and controls across cybersecurity, data protection, business continuity, and technology-related third-party risk management. 

Prior to joining SEI, Kristie served as Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer for Advisor Technology and Enterprise Production Operations at LPL Financial, where she led technology supporting 32,000 financial advisors and oversaw enterprise production operations. She helped define and operationalize the firm’s enterprise AI strategy. 

Kristie previously spent 17 years at Vanguard, where she held senior leadership roles across technology, product, and corporate strategy, including CIO of Intermediary Technology and Chief Product and Information Officer for Financial Advisor Services. 

Kristie holds an MBA in human capital management from Saint Joseph's University and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the College of Charleston. She has been recognized for her contributions to the technology industry, including receiving the 2024 Philadelphia ORBIE® Award in the Large Enterprise category.
