Duane Oakes

Duane has been with SEI Private Wealth Management for over 25 years. He leads the Philadelphia / Oaks based client teams and works directly with clients and families to help them achieve their wealth goals. He is the main point of contact for clients and is responsible for the delivery of PWM's goals-based wealth advice. Duane’s clients view him as their primary wealth advisor, and he takes responsibility for each client’s overall goals and objectives.

Duane graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, earning a Bachelor of Science in economics. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy as a flight officer and flight instructor, flying the P-3 Orion aircraft on various missions over the Persian Gulf, Europe, North Atlantic, South America, Bosnia and Somalia.

Duane has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida, and as a registered investment advisor, he holds various investment and security licenses including Series 7, 63 and 65. He is active as a Blue and Gold Recruiting Officer for the Naval Academy and has served on the board of The Veterans Group, a nonprofit homeless veterans organization. Duane is also a member of the National High School Referees Association and the Chester County Sports Officials Organization.
