Fraudulent site alert

January 30, 2023
clock 1 MIN READ

SEI is aware of bad actors creating fraudulent content and posing as SEI’s public website or using SEI’s public website data to appear as a reputable company on various social media sites. These sites may offer fraudulent services and/or prompt users to enter credentials or chat with a “live person” in an attempt to phish data from website visitors. In internet searches, these sites may appear, and you could potentially receive communications via email or social media to explore these sites.

While bad actors continue to evolve their methods, we are aware that one such bad actor is creating fake company names that allow for the use of the “SEI” acronym, coupled with our stolen website information. Do not visit these sites or provide any credentials. If you have provided your information on these sites, you should update your credentials immediately. SEI has no connection to these sites and recommends that you avoid clicking links and interacting with them.
