Nathan S. Shetty

Nathan Shetty is SEI’s Chief Investment Officer. He oversees traditional and alternative investment offerings, with a focus on delivering scalable, customized investment solutions for institutional and wealth clients.

Nathan has more than 20 years of experience leading global, multi‑asset investment businesses. Most recently, he served as Senior Managing Director and Head of Multi‑Asset at Nuveen Asset Management, where he led the investment team in designing and managing a broad range of global, multi-asset and multi-manager solutions and strategies across a diverse set of investment vehicles. He also served on Nuveen’s firmwide Global Investment Committee. Prior to that, he was Global Co‑Head of Portfolio Management for Investment Solutions at UBS Global Asset Management and held senior roles at Mesirow Financial, Mountain Pacific Group, and Pareto Partners.

Nathan earned a Master of Science in communication from Northwestern University, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Science in statistics from Texas A&M University. He is a CFA charterholder and certified Financial Risk Manager.
