Who is SEI? – I haven't heard of you.
That’s not surprising. We have traditionally been a business to business company. We are very well known in the banking and investment management industries. However, we don't advertise directly to individuals which is probably why you aren't familiar with our name as a wealth management firm. On the other hand, SEI has been around for over 30 years, is a publicly held company traded on the NASDAQ (SEIC) with strong financial results. View our annual report?

Who else is doing this? Who is your competition?
Many wealth management firms within the financial services industry are targeting successful individuals and claim to offer a total package for them. Underneath it all, most of these offerings are simply reconfigured ways of selling the proprietary financial products that they have on the shelf. We believe that the SEI Wealth Network is the only wealth management firm that delivers from a holistic point of view integrating important life goals with financial resources.
A good way to audit for truly objective advice is to see who is charging for it. If it is being provided "for free" it is probably neither objective, nor free.
What is the fee structure for the wealth management services of the SEI Wealth Network?
There are two broad categories of fees:
Professional Service fee for ongoing services and advice – Based on net worth of client and complexity of their situation. The fee is different for each client, and generally ranges from $5,000-$25,000 per year.
Implementation Fees: For implementation of specific projects and programs such as estate planning and investment management. Determining factors include the complexity of the project, the cost of outside experts, and any product costs involved with implementation. Examples of Implementation fees are investment management expenses, drafting an estate plan and insurance premiums.
What exactly do I get for the Professional Service Fee?
Integrated advice across key areas that impact your life. That advice comes in the form of a Personal Business Manager, goal identification tools, decision making frameworks, analysis and education. It also includes a custom built website to access your information and a financial management system including cash flow management reporting, bill payment and financial reporting. |
