Investment News Magazine Profiles SEI Advisor Network Quick Poll

Investment News recently published a recap of an SEI Advisor Network Quick Poll. 205 independent advisors affiliated with SEI took part in the poll. 

Overall, financial advisors feel that the best way to rebuild their businessess after the economic downturn is to find new clients. Key findings of the poll include:

  • 58.7% ranked client acquisition as the top strategy for restoring revenue. Tactics to do so included securing more assets from existing clients, adding additional products and services, and relationships with other professionals, such as accountants and attorneys.
  • Just 1% cited staff reduction as a means to recoup revenue.
