SEI Expands Team To Support Growing Fiduciary Management Business
LONDON, 28 May, 2012 Ė SEI (NASDAQ:SEIC) today announced the appointment of David Hickey as a Director within the companyís Institutional Group in London. David will be responsible for formulating and delivering strategic advice to SEIís fiduciary management clients and prospects in Europe. He brings considerable experience in liability driven investing to SEI, which will prove invaluable to both SEI and its fiduciary management clients.
This appointment is further evidence of the increasing interest in SEIís fiduciary management business in Europe, which has grown considerably over the last two years. SEIís Institutional Group recently reported that a record five U.K. fiduciary management clients have been secured in the last six months, taking the total number of fiduciary management clients to over 450 globally.
Prior to joining SEI, David spent the majority of his career at Barclays Capital, latterly as head of U.K. and Ireland Pension Origination. Prior to this, David qualified as an accountant at Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP. Directly before joining SEI, David was a director of fiduciary management at Russell Investments in the U.K.
