SEI South Africa Appoints Managing Director

JOHANNESBURG, Sept. 6, 2010 – SEI Investments (South Africa) Limited, a subsidiary of SEI Investments Company (NASDAQ:SEIC) (“SEI”), has appointed Giles Mokoka as Managing Director and head of its South African operation based in Johannesburg. Giles will report to Patrick Disney, Managing Director of SEI’s Institutional Group in the EMEA region.
Giles brings considerable experience in asset management to the role at SEI. He joins the company after establishing his own consulting business working with boutique asset managers to establish opportunities within the investment industry. Prior to starting the consulting business, Giles was involved in new business development at RMB Asset Management, where he was responsible for managing consultant relationships and growing RMB’s institutional business. Giles’ career in institutional asset management also includes both business development and sales roles at Old Mutual Asset Management and experience in servicing institutional clients within Investec Asset Management’s fund management team based in Cape Town. Giles has an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at The University of Cape Town.
