SEI Appoints Head Of Canadian Institutional Sales

TORONTO, Nov. 12, 2009 – SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC) today announced it has appointed Michael Chwalka as Head of Institutional Sales for SEI Investments Canada. Mr. Chwalka’s focus is new business development for SEI’s comprehensive solution customized for Canadian pension plans, endowments, foundations, and various other institutional investors. The investment component of this comprehensive solution is delivered through SEI’s Manager-of-Managers Program.

Mr. Chwalka comes to SEI with an impressive track record and a thorough understanding of the Canadian institutional market. Most recently, Michael was executive director and head of Morgan Stanley Investment Management’s Canadian institutional business. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he served seven years as senior vice president and head of institutional sales for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers in Canada. Michael has also held senior sales roles within Chase Fleming Asset Management, jointly representing the Flemings Group (UK) and Jardine Fleming (Hong Kong), Fidelity Investments as regional vice president, and National Trust as vice president pension custody and institutional trust sales.
