Phil Masterson is a Senior Vice President and Managing Director of SEIís Investment Manager Services division. In this role, Phil is primarily responsible for the divisionís international strategy, business development, client service, and delivery.

Phil formerly served as President of the Advisors' Inner Circle Funds (AIC), SEIís $20 billion turnkey mutual fund platform. As President of the AIC funds, Phil led all aspects of the fundsí daily operational, legal, and compliance activities, as well as product development matters for the trust. Phil also designed, established, and led a distribution team focused on growing the AIC funds through various intermediary channels. To date, this team has directly raised or influenced the placement of over $1 billion. Phil joined SEI from Citco Mutual Fund Services, where he served as General Counsel. Prior to Citco, he served as Vice President and Senior Counsel at OppenheimerFunds.

Phil received his Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law. He received his masterís in securities and financial regulation from Georgetown University. He frequently speaks at industry conferences and has published articles in the International Investor, Institutional Investor, Review of Securities and Commodities Regulation, Global Assets, Investment Lawyer, Morgan Lewis Hedge Fund Desktop Book, The Journal of Index Investing, and Institutional Investorís Guide to Exchange Traded Funds and Indexing Innovations. Phil is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, a national Jesuit honor society, whose membership is based on academic achievement and community service.
