James Morris is Senior Vice President for SEI’s Private Banks segment. In this role, he leads SEI’s Private Banks Asset Management team for North America, which includes sales, solution, and relationship management across the U.S., Canada, and Central America. The Private Banks Asset Management team works to strengthen relationships, grow assets, and develop new business for the community bank market.

Prior to this position, Mr. Morris was senior vice president of SEI’s Institutional Group, where he was responsible for the development of the company’s global retirement, nonprofit, and healthcare solutions. Mr. Morris joined SEI in 1983 as vice president and controller of SEI’s mutual fund business, and since 1987, he has had direct client and management responsibility for both the institutional investor and banking markets.

Mr. Morris has over 30 years of financial services and investment experience. In September 2004, he helped SEI’s Institutional Group launch PensionConnect 360, the industry’s first fully integrated pension solution, which helps synthesize clients’ long-term pension strategy with their corporate financial goals.

Mr. Morris holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from LaSalle University.
