• Annual Market Update to 31 December 2011

  Volatility persisted throughout the 12 months ending in December, as global equity and bond markets faltered in the wake of bad news, including a continuation of the sovereign debt crisis in the eurozone, political turmoil in North Africa and the Middle East, an earthquake and tsunami in Japan and growing fears about the high level of U.S. debt.
