Recent Awards and Accolades recieved by SEI.

SEI Selected as Best Administrator

SEI was named “Best Fund Administrator” in the 2011 Buy-Side Technology Awards. The award points to SEI’s ongoing leadership in providing world-class services that help investment managers meet the demands of the marketplace and better manage their business.

SEI Named Best Administrator - Single Manager Hedge Funds

SEI was recognised as the “Best Administrator – Single Manager Hedge Funds” in the 2011 HFMWeek U.S. Hedge Fund Services Awards, among service providers with over $30 billion in assets under administration. SEI also received “Highly Commended” recognition in the “Most Innovative Fund Administrator” category.

Commenting on SEI’s submission, the judging committee said, “SEI continues to impress. They have a strong business that has grown in assets, but not lost focus on the end customer.” Read more.

SEI Recognised as Best European Funds of Hedge Funds Administrator

SEI was named “Best Funds of Hedge Funds Administrator” in the 2011 HFMWeek European Service Provider Awards among service providers with over $30 billion in assets under administration. The award, presented by industry publication HFMWeek, points to SEI’s continued investments in technologies that enable hedge fund managers to better manage their business, adapt to regulatory changes, and meet investors’ evolving demands. 

The award also points to SEI's growth in Europe and ongoing investments in front-, middle-, and back-office solutions.  Read more.

SEI Named Most Innovative Fund Administrator and Best Fund of Hedge Fund Administrator

SEI was named "Most Innovative Fund Administrator" and "Best Funds of Hedge Funds Administrator" in the 2010 HFMWeek US Hedge Fund Services Award among service providers with over $30 billion in assets under administration. As noted by the judging panel, "Consistently improving and delivering ever-better services to its customer base, the judges felt that SEI strives for excellence at all times. Innovation is often used as purely a marketing tool, in contrast SEC is actually a firm that genuinely sets precedents.”

SEI was also recognized as a finalist in five additional awards categories, including Single Manager, Middle Office, Client Service, Investor Servicing Technology, and Best Overall Administrator. Read more. 
 

SEI Named Best Fund Administrator

SEI was recognised at the 2009 Buy-Side Technology Awards as the Best Funds Administrator. Commenting on SEI's selection was Victor Anderson, Editor of Buy-Side Technology: “The fund administration industry has not been a happy place for many participants over the past 18 months as funds under administration (AUA) have shrunk alarmingly. HedgeFund.net ranks SEI the third-largest servicer of managed accounts for hedge funds and funds of hedge funds. The rankings are part of HedgeFund.net’s Q4 2008 Hedge Fund Administrator survey and are based on assets under administration.
