SEI Grows UK Global Wealth Services Offering With Key Appointments

Mark Rockliffe appointed as Director of Sales for Wealth Management; Jim Clay appointed Senior Business Development Director for Wealth Processing

LONDON, 22 Oct. 2009 – SEI (NASDAQ:SEIC) has made two key appointments to its UK Global Wealth Services (GWS) team. Mark Rockliffe has been appointed Director of Sales for Wealth Management, and Jim Clay has joined as Senior Business Development Director for Wealth Processing. Both will be based in SEI’s London office.

The dual appointments to SEI's Global Wealth Services team are part of aggressive investment and expansion plans as SEI responds to significant market interest in their offering.

Commenting on the appointments, Joseph P. Ujobai, Executive Vice President, SEI’s Private Banks segment, said:

Mark most recently worked as a consultant to the Strategic Partnerships Team at Octopus Investments, where he was responsible for helping shape the distribution strategy and development of new business streams through key intermediary distributors. Prior to this, Mark was Intermediary Sales Director at F&C Investments where he was involved in creating a new sales structure to better align resources, manage sales directors and support teams, whilst also developing new supporting accounts for new business. Before joining F&C, Mark spent 17 years at Zurich Intermediary Group.

Jim brings with him over 15 years of valuable experience in various senior sales and executive client management roles. Before joining SEI, Jim was a senior Client Director at the Lifestyle Services Group. Prior to Lifestyle, Jim was a Senior Account Director at CPP Group PLC, managing several strategic relationships. Jim was also Strategic Project Manager to the Group Chief Executive at CPP Group. Jim holds an MBA from Leeds University Business School.
