Chief Marketing Officer
Mark Samuels is Chief Marketing Officer of SEI, a position he has held since 1999. His responsibilities include overseeing SEIís creative and production services, including print media, digital media, and brand management. Mark also manages research and development; public relations efforts; direct marketing; and event planning for the company, its clients, and the markets it serves. In addition, he is one of the key liaisons for the investor community and equity markets.
From 1995 to 1999, Mark was one of the Senior Managers of SEIís mutual fund services business line, responsible for the proprietary fund product group and shareholder services (including investor services, B/D support, internal wholesaling, and shareholder communications).
Prior to this position, Mark was the Managing Director of the regional Northeast team, serving a territory consisting of 50 regional bank clients. Mark started with SEI in 1992 in the Corporate Marketing and Communications department, where he headed a staff of marketing managers working with SEIís bank proprietary fund relationships.
Before joining SEI, Mark spent 20 years in marketing management working with companies including Campbell Soup, Alpo, Mrs. Smith Pies, and Dupont.
Mark received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Temple University.
