Edward D. Loughlin

Executive Vice President, Institutional Group

Edward D. Loughlin is an Executive Vice President of SEI and a member of the executive committee. Mr. Loughlin oversees all investment products and services provided to clients of SEI’s Institutional Group.

Since joining SEI in the fall of 1979, Mr. Loughlin has held a broad array of leadership positions in the areas of pension, banking, and investment management. Under Mr. Loughlin’s leadership SEI has transformed into one of the top pension and investment management firms in the country. Under Mr. Loughlin’s direction, SEI has worked with hundreds of organizations reinventing the way they approach the retirement business by revolutionizing their investment management process. Mr. Loughlin’s investment insight and expertise, combined with his ability to put together a strong team, allowed SEI to create a niche for itself as a leading manager of managers in the institutional marketplace.

Often quoted in major business publications, Mr. Loughlin’s tenure in the financial industry coupled with his commitment to innovation has made him one of the most sought after and distinguished speakers in the institutional investment industry.

Mr. Loughlin graduated from St. Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Accounting and is a registered financial representative with the NASD.
