Poll results: Globally, LDI Has Entered the Mainstream
The Pension Management Research Panel recently conducted the 3rd Annual Global Quick Poll on Liability Driven Investing (LDI). The poll was completed by 150 pension executives from Canada, Netherlands, United Kingdom and United States. The executives oversee pensions ranging from US $30 million to more than US $5 billion in assets.
The aim of this poll and this summary was to examine how feelings around LDI strategies have changed over the past three years. Additionally, the poll sought to understand what, if any, impact the recent economic environment has had on LDI strategies.
