SEI’s US-Registered Money Market Funds to Participate in Treasury Guarantee Program

SEI’s ten US–registered money market funds intend to participate in the Treasury Department’s money market fund guarantee program. The funds that will be covered by this program will be the following:

    SEI Liquid Asset Trust
  • Prime Obligation Fund
    SEI Daily Income Trust
  • Money Market Fund
  • Prime Obligation Fund
  • Government Fund
  • Government II Fund
  • Treasury Fund
  • Treasury II Fund
    SEI Tax Exempt Trust
  • Institutional Tax Fee Fund
  • Mass Tax Free Fund
  • Tax Free Fund
The board of trustees for each of these funds has approved participation in the program and the funds are proceeding with the necessary application process. Once in place, this guarantee program means that each investor in any of these funds will have federal insurance on the full amounts on their balances in one of these funds up to the amount that they had invested in that fund as of the close of business on September 19, 2008.

SEI has been sponsoring money market funds for 27 years through many a market cycle. As always, SEI is dedicated to keeping the money market funds it sponsors as safe as possible and feel that entering the US Treasury Guarantee Program is a prudent move in the current market environment and prevailing investor sentiment. For more information on the Treasury Guarantee Program please visit the Treasury’s web site at (http://www.treas.gov/offices/domestic-finance/key-initiatives/money-market-docs/TermSheet.pdf).

To determine if the fund(s) are an appropriate investment for you, carefully consider the fund’s investment objectives, risk factors and charges and expenses before investing. This and other information can be found in the Fund’s prospectus, which may be obtained by calling 1-800-DIAL-SEI. Please read it carefully before investing.

An investment in the Fund is not insured or guaranteed by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other government agency. Although the Fund seeks to preserve the value of your investment at $1.00 per share, it is possible to lose money by investing in the Fund.

SEI Investments Management Corporation is the adviser to the SEI funds, which are distributed by SEI Investments Distribution Co (SIDCO). SIMC and SIDCO are wholly owned subsidiaries of SEI Investments Company.
